Community Based Instruction (CBI) We are excited to be working with your child to help him gain important life and employability skills. Most students will have the opportunity to experience job training and gain employability skills at community businesses or at the school. We really stress the importance of good attendance and hard work to the students. Community Based Work Experience is a unique and vital aspect of our curriculum. For most jobs, the students will have an adult job supervisor with them. When your child is scheduled to begin community based work, he/she will need a signed permission slip to participate. Some jobs also require specific uniforms. We will forward that information as needed.
